PORTFOLIO
Client:  The Salvation Army Employment Plus
Project: Tender Services

Dawtek has been co-ordinating a range of tender processes with The Salvation Army Employment Plus (TSAEP) since 2005. For example, Dawtek assisted TSAEP with the preparation, editing, copywriting and submission of the Employment Services tender. This work involved careful preparation, including thorough research and drafting of information relevant to the tender criteria. All tender responses were substantively edited to ensure the responses addressed the criteria and met the requirements of the tender, following client input to the original draft. Tender responses were also copy edited to ensure correct spelling, language, grammar and formatting, and all tender responses were prepared, proofread and submitted on time. The success of these tender processes has resulted in a beneficial ongoing relationship between Dawtek and TSAEP.

Client:  Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT)
Project: Writing and Editing of Business Documentation and Processes

Dawtek worked with VCAT in 2009 on a substantial project for the writing and editing of organisation-wide business documentation and processes. Initially, the project consisted of delivering workshops to gather the required information from staff members and develop draft documentation. The next phase was to re-work the documents and processes in an operational capacity. The final phase consisted of editing and proofreading to ensure all documentation met the in-house style guide and corporate requirements.

Client:  Department of Justice
Project: Justice of the Peace Handbook and Online Training, Bail Justice Online User Manual, Bail Hearing webcam quick reference guide, Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act Process Review and Online Training, Court Services Management Record Review.

In 2009 Dawtek worked with the Honorary Justice Office to develop and implement a handbook with associated online training modules for use by newly appointed Justices of the Peace. Dawtek developed a manual for administrators and users of the Department's Bail Justice Online System and a quick reference guide for Bail Justice hearings using webcam technology. Dawtek worked with the Department of Justice in the drafting, preparation, editing and implementation of online training and guides for Court Services staff after the introduction of amendments in 2009 to the Victorian Criminal Procedure and Evidence Acts. Dawtek also worked with The Department of Justice in the preparation of the Court Services Management Record Review, which included workshops and discussion groups with key personnel to determine their current record processes. Information was collated for the several departments and analysed. Dawtek wrote and edited the final document which was presented to the Court Services Manager.
