Work with Kristine. Tender writing, tender strategy, review, training and library services

If you’re tendering on something that genuinely matters to your business, and a tender template or toolkit alone isn’t the right answer, this is where you start. This page sets out the six services I offer and how to engage me to support your next submission.

Every service is delivered by me, personally. You have direct access to a senior Australian tender writer throughout, with the same person carrying your business context across every section.

My clients range from sole traders bidding on their first Australian government opportunity through to large corporate and government clients running concurrent tender programmes. The support scales with you.

Services

Tender Training

Bespoke one on one or team tender training sessions to lift your in house tender writing capability. Built around the kinds of tenders your Australian business actually pursues. Delivered in person in Melbourne, by video conference Australia wide, or as a hybrid programme.

How to start

Step one

Call me on 1300 DAWTEK or email kristine@dawtek.com.au. Tell me about your tender and what you're trying to win. No obligation, no sales pitch.

Step two

I'll give you an honest assessment. I review the opportunity and tell you what level of support would be most useful, and what it would cost. Fixed fees, every time, quoted before we start.

Step three

We get to work. You stay involved throughout. You lodge a submission you're confident putting your name on.

Frequently asked questions about working with Kristine

The first step is a phone call or email. Call me on 1300 DAWTEK or email kristine@dawtek.com.au. Tell me about your tender and what you’re trying to win. We talk for 20 to 30 minutes, no obligation. If we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a fixed fee proposal for whichever service suits, within one business day. If we’re not a fit, I’ll say so and recommend an alternative. You only commit when you’re ready.

Tender writing is quoted as a fixed fee for every engagement. The fee depends on the size and complexity of the tender and the level of starting content you already have. A small council request for quotation is one figure. A federal government infrastructure tender is another. A Tender Strategy session is a separate, smaller fixed fee. Every quote is given in writing before you commit. No hourly billing, no surprises.

A Tender Strategy session is a focused engagement for businesses that want to write their tender themselves but want an experienced Australian tender writer to shape the approach. I read the tender documents, assess your fit, develop the win themes, build the evaluator-aligned messaging and give you a written tender strategy you can write to. It suits Australian small businesses that have the capacity to do the writing but need expert tender strategy support to get the angles right.

Yes. Around 40 per cent of my tender writing clients are outside Melbourne. Every engagement is managed remotely through phone and video calls, with tender documents exchanged electronically. I have tender writing clients in every state and territory of Australia.

That’s a common starting point, and it often works in your favour. A Tender Review is the most efficient option when you have a draft. I read it the way an Australian tender evaluator will and give you prioritised written recommendations on what to change before lodgement. Tender writing for partly completed tenders remains an option where you’d rather hand it over.

Yes, and I’d rather tell you early. If I read the documents and your business profile and conclude you don’t have a real chance, I’ll say so before we commit. There’s no fee for that conversation. Pursuing a tender you can’t win costs you time, money and the energy you could have put toward a tender you could win.

Request for Tender (RFT) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for Australian government and private procurement. Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions for panel arrangements. Request for Quotation (RFQ) responses. Grant applications. Capability statements. Panel registration submissions. Multi-stage tender processes. Every industry I’ve covered in 25 years, from construction and infrastructure through to aged care, not-for-profit, and professional services.
